Albay Governor Al Francis Bichara joined hundreds of eager young boys and girls, DepEd officials, officers and teachers, and local government officials, in the formal opening program of the 23rd Provincial Jamborette at Baranggay Hindi, Bacacay, Albay.
Boy and Girl Scout troops from all over the Province of Albay converged at the Jamboree Camp Arena for a four day camping activity which shall consist of a multitude of planned activities that will train and enhance their skills at scouting, as well as mold their young minds.
Gov. Bichara, this year’s Chairman of the Mayon (Albay) Council of the BSP formally declared this year’s Jamborette open.
In his message, Governor Bichara wished all the attendees good luck in the task ahead of them and expressed his high spirits in the holding of the said activity.
He also ackniowledged the presence and support of the different agencies who have sent representatives which will play vital roles in the series of trainings, workshops, and seminars included in the calendar of activities.
This year’s Jamborette is set with the theme “Growth and Stability,” a challenge that the BSP has set among its young members as preparation for their future and well-being.
