The Provincial Government of Albay (PGA), through Albay Friendly Basic Health Care providers (AFBHCP) extends their continuous medical services to the 1, 947evacuees of Barangay Comom whom are temporarily residing in Tabaco Northwest Central School this February 14, 2018.

The Department of Health (DOH) as well as volunteer Barangay Health Workers were also present in assisting the medical mission. Evacuees were provided free consultations and checkups regarding their dental, optical, and clinical health. Free medicines and correcting/ reading glasses were also given to them.

The DOH has listed the 5 top causes of consultations for February being cough and colds, rashes, mouth sores, lacerated wounds, and toothaches. So far, there are no reported casualties from the evacuees.

Donors from both public and private sectors also reached hand in hand to help the evacuees.

The Provincial Information Office (PIO) handed out calendars to the evacuees as well.
