TROPICAL DEPRESSION #UrdujaPh HAS ACCELERATED FURTHER WHILE MOVING CLOSER TOWARDS EASTERN SAMAR.
Expected to make landfall over Eastern Samar between tonight and tomorrow morning.
Estimated rainfall amount is from moderate to heavy within the 400 km diameter of the Tropical Depression.
Scattered to widespread rains is expected over Visayas and the regions of Bicol, Caraga and Northern Mindanao within 24 hours. Residents in these areas are alerted against possible flashfloods and landslides.
Fisherfolks and those with small seacrafts are advised not to venture out over the eastern seaboard of Bicol Region and Eastern Visayas due to moderate to rough seas associated with the approaching Tropical Depression.
Location of eye/center: At 7:00 AM today, the center of Tropical Depression #UrdujaPh was estimated based on all available data at 140 km East of Guiuan, Eastern Samar (11.0 °N, 127.0 °E)
Strength: Maximum sustained winds of 55 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 65 kph
