The Provincial Government of Albay (PGA) through the Albay Provincial Agricultural Office (APAO) under the leadership of Gov. Al Francis C. Bichara administered its Tupad Payout Activity to the 100 Irrigator’s Association Members in Camalig, Albay who had received 5,000 each from DOLE.

TUPAD is a community-based package of assistance and a regular program of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) to provide emergency employment for displaced workers in the informal sector affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and those affected by the successive typhoons last year.

The PGA- APAO is an Accredited Co-Partner (ACP) of DOLE that is involved in the implementation of the said program; the ACP (including LGUs) shall facilitate the payment of wages of the TUPAD beneficiaries using a prescribed payroll.

The Provincial Government extended its word of gratitude to DOLE RFO5 that is headed by Regional Director Ma. Zenaida Angara-Campita, Albay Provincial Agriculturist Che Rebeta, Public Employment Services Office (PESO), Regional Federation President Lily Nicoleta, and LGU Camalig headed by Mayor Caloy Baldo, Municipal Agriculturist Officer Dante Alejandro and to the following staff who had facilitated the distribution with the presence of the Albay Provincial Administrator Engr.Vida Prollamante.
