World Rabies Day is the first and only global day of action and awareness for rabies prevention. September 28th 2020 is the 14th World Rabies Day is an opportunity in which community helping individuals unites with NGOs and governments to connect and share their works.

The theme focuses on vaccination and collaboration. In other words it reminds us of the current issues in rabies elimination namely; the goal of zero by 30, the importance of dog vaccination and post exposure prophylaxis, and the need for united effort towards achieving elimination of the trans boundary disease.

Participating in World Rabies Day is a way of making and sharing progress towards the elimination of rabies deaths in the province.
