The Provincial Planning and Development Office (PPDO) administered a conference-workshop regarding on Strategic Performance Management System (SPMS) at Governor’s Conference Room Albay Capitol today February 28, 2020.
It was attended by the Department Heads, Chief of Hospitals, Programs and Unit Heads. Engr. Macario M. Pavia, Provincial Planning and Development Head, gave his message on the importance of strengthening the SMPS.
“Seryosohon ta ini” he emphasized.
Thereafter Ms. Annie Arevalo, Project Development Officer II, led the discussion of the SMPS, this is in accordance to Civil Service Commission (CSC) Memorandum Circular No. 6 Series of 2012 directing all government agencies to establish and implement the Strategic Performance Management System (SMPS), she also elaborated including Office Performance Commitment and Review (OPCR), Individual Performance Commitment and Review Form (IPCR), Division Performance Commitment and Review (DPCR) and Quarterly Accomplishment Report (QAR). During the discussion Mr. Oliver Cogasa, Provincial Human Resource Management Office Head OIC, butt in to clarify and tackled the importance of strengthening the SMPS.
“We need to have coordination, dae mi kaya ini na kami lang” he stated.
The conference was ended with a workshop participated by the Department Heads, Chief of Hospitals, Programs and Unit Heads to enriched them.
